¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel appearing on behalf of opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to competent authority to decide petitioner's appeal/ representation dated

02.09.2023 against the removal order dated 17.11.2022.

¶3For the aforesaid grievance, petitioner has already submitted appeal/ representation dated 02.09.2023. At present learned counsel for petitioner restricts his prayer for a final decision with regard to same.

¶4Considering innocuous prayer being made by learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, opposite party No.2 i.e. Deputy Commandant General, Home Guards Headquarter, Lucknow is directed to consider and decide appeal/ representation dated 02.09.2023 within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before said authority.
