Judgment

Court No. - 7 Case :- WRIT - C No. - 11012 of 2023 Petitioner :- Kumkum Maurya Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy., Higher Education, Lucknow And Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Raj Priya Srivastava Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Savitra Vardhan Singh Hon'ble Abdul Moin,J.

¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent no.1 and Sri Savitra Vardhan Singh, learned counsel for respondents no.2 and 3.

¶2No notice be issued to respondent no.4 taking into consideration the nature of order proposed to be passed.

¶3The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner had succeeded in the B.Ed. Joint Entrance Examination, 2023 conduced by the Bundel Khand University. Though the petitioner deposited an amount of Rs.750/- as counseling fee and Rs.5,000/- as advance yet the balance fee could not be deposited by her despite the last date after repeated extension having lapsed on 23.11.2023.

¶4The contention is that now the petitioner is willing to deposit the balance fee and that the respondent college/University may accept the said fee.

¶5On the other hand, Sri Savitra Vardhan Singh, learned counsel for respondents no.2 and 3, states that once the last date for depositing the fee has already lapsed and the entire admission procedure has come to an end consequently there would not be any occasion for accepting any fee.

¶6Considering the aforesaid more particularly when the last date for depositing the balance fee already stands lapsed and the petitioner failed to deposit the fee even after extension of date, no orders can be passed by this Court permitting the petitioner to deposit the fee.

¶7The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Order Date :- 16.12.2023 A. Katiyar High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
