¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.

¶2This petition has been filed by petitioner for the following main prayer:- "(a) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the Opposite party No.2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 11.10.2023 applied under scheme Government letter ससखयय-157/एक-11-2020-04(जज)/2015-टज.सज.,

जनलयई2021. The true copy of application dated 11.10.2023 contained as Annexure No.1 to this writ petition."

¶3Learned counsel for petitioner has submitted that husband of petitioner died due to snake bite on 03.09.2023. Petitioner is entitled for the benefit of Government letter ससखयय-157/एक-11-2020-04(जज)/2015-टज.सज.,

जनलयई2021. Learned counsel for petitioner states that petitioner has applied before the authorities but till date no decision has been taken.

¶4After arguing at some length, learned counsel for petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that District Magistrate who is head of the District Level Committee may be directed to decide the application of petitioner dated

11.10.2023.

¶5Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the prayer made.

¶6On request of learned counsel for petitioner present writ petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 District Magistrate/Collector, Ambedkar Nagar, District-Ambedkar Nagar to take a decision on the application of petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is served upon him.
