Hon'ble Narendra Kumar Johari,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State-respondents. This petition has been filed praying the following reliefs:-

(a) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus for commanding the opposite party no. 2 (Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow) to consider and decide the application/complaint dated 14.12.2022 in light of the inquiry dated 07.09.2021 conducted by the State Human Right Commission, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, contained as Annexure No. 12 to this writ petition in accordance with law, during the pendency of this writ petition, in the interest of justice

(b) to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 2 (Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow) and the opposite party no. 3 to take an appropriate action against the guilty police persons mentioned in the inquiry dated 07.09.2021 conducted by the State Human Right Commission. Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

(c) to issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to abstain themselves from illegally interfering with life, liberty and privacy of the petitioners and their family members, stop themselves from false implications of their family members in serious charges, not to illegally malign character and tarnish image of the petitioners and their family members by abusing their official power, not to illegally harass them on the dictate of local MLA, in the interest of justice. Learned A.G.A. has produced instruction sent by In-charge Inspector of Crime Branch, Pratapgarh - Rajesh Kumar wherein it has been stated that on the basis of information given by Sajida Begum at Police Station-Kandhai, Pratapgarh in case crime no. 82 of 2023 under Section 395, 397 I.P.C. registered has been registered against the then S.H.O. and several other police personnel on 24.3.2023 and investigation is being carried out by Smt. Namita Singh Chauhan, Crime Branch Pratapgarh. There is no harassment being carried out of the petitioners. The instructions are taken on record. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach before the Director General of Police U.P. with a copy of representation dated 14.12.2022 and copy of this Court and the Director General of Police, U.P. shall look into the grievances of the petitioners and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law.
