¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Mohit Jauhari, learned Standing Counsel.

¶2Sri Jauhari has stated that the writ court has directed the District Magistrate, Barabanki to revisit on the decision passed in respect of payment of compensation under the Scheme 'Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana', which had earlier been rejected. Sri Jauhari has produced a copy of order dated 20.11.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Barabanki whereby the earlier order has been revisited by the District Magistrate and claim of the petitioner in respect of the aforesaid Scheme has been maintained. Sri Jauhari has also stated that pursuant to the aforesaid order of the District Magistrate, the petitioner has been paid a sum of Rupees five lakh as statement of the petitioner has also been enclosed with the aforesaid instructions. The aforesaid instructions are taken on record and copy thereof has been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶3In the wake of aforesaid development, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt petition.

¶4Accordingly, the present contempt petition is dismissed.
