¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sunil Bajpai, learned Addl. Chief Standing Counsel.

¶2Sri Bajpai has shown a copy of order dated 22.11.2023 passed by the District Magistrate, Gonda whereby claim of the petitioner under 'Mukhyamantri Kisan Evam Sarvhit Bima Yojna' has been rejected; copy thereof is taken on record and one copy thereof has been provided to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

¶3Since claim of the petitioner has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Gonda vide order dated 22.11.2023, therefore, liberty is given to the petitioner to assail the aforesaid order before the appropriate court of law but the contempt petition may not be kept pending for the reason that now, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present contempt petition.

¶4Accordingly, the present contempt petition is dismissed.
