Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel. Petitioner has approached this Court for a mandamus commanding the opposite parties to pay compensation on account of the land which was acquired by the Government. Earlier also, the petitioner has filed a Writ Petition bearing Writ 'C'No.7121 of 2023 which was disposed of by order dated 22.08.2023 whereby the Sub Divisional Magistrate concerned was directed to consider the application of the petitioner under Section 24 of the U.P. Land Revenue Code, 2006 with regard to demarcation of the land. The Sub Divisional Magistrate concerned has considered the application of the petitioner and rejected the same by order dated 23.11.2023, finding that the land cannot be demarcated for the reasons given in the said order. In view of thereof, the petitioner has a remedy to file an appeal against the said order. In case any such appeal is filed within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be decided expeditiously by the appellate authority in accordance with law after hearing all the parties concerned.
