¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Sri Mohan Singh learned counsel who has put in appearance on behalf of the Gaon Sabha.

¶2By means of this writ petition filed in public interest, the petitioners have assailed the alleged encroachment upon gata no. 215 situated in village Tarapur Guman, Post-Kandhaipur, Pargana-Dariyabad, Tehsil-Sirauligauspur, District-Barabanki by the local gram pradhan.

¶3For any such grievance, the petitioners have remedy under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

¶4It is thus open to the petitioners to avail the appropriate remedy as provided under law.

¶5The remedy availed of shall be at the sole risk of the petitioners in case the proceedings are found baseless or malicious.
