¶1Heard learned Counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for respondent no.1, Shri Shobhit Mohan Shukla, learned Counsel who has accepted notice on behalf of respondents no.2 and 4 whereas Shri K.K. Pandey, learned Counsel who has put in appearance on behalf of respondent no.3.

¶2The relief sought in this writ petition is innocuous. Without entering into the merits of the case, we hereby direct the respondents no.2, 3 and 4 to consider the petitioners' application for grant of 'No Objection Certificate' in the light of sanction plan submitted before the Lucknow Development Authority on

18.10.2022. The Lucknow Development Authority pursuant to sanction plan has already sought 'No Objection Certificate' from other departments which has since been forwarded by the respective departments. It is only the 'No Objection Certificate' to be issued by respondents no.3 and 4 which remains pending.

¶3Respondent nos.3 and 4 are accordingly directed to consider and issue the necessary 'No Objection Certificate' as has been prayed for unless there is any legal impediment. The legal impediment, if any, may be communicated to the petitioners in writing. This exercise shall be completed not later than a period of one month from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before the authorities concerned.
