¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.

¶2Present petition has been filed with the following prayers: "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandmaus commanding the opposite party no.2 to take the decision upon the application no.362A/2019 which is pending since 2019 as contained as Annexure No.1 to this petition. ii. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to decide the representation dated 20.08.2022. ......"

¶3Considering the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending consideration, respondent no.2, the District Magistrate, is directed to take a decision thereupon in accordance with law within a period of two months.
