The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the suspension order dated

28.10.2023, whereby the shop of the petitioner was placed under suspension. Subsequently, it appears from the record that the petitioner was served with a show cause notice dated 04.11.2023 making certain allegations against the petitioner. It is claimed by the petitioner that he has given a detailed reply to the allegation leveled in the show cause notice dated 04.11.2023, which is contained in Annexure No. 5 to the writ petition. In view of the fact that the petitioner has already submitted his reply, the present writ petition is disposed of directing the licensing authority to take a decision after considering the reply/afÏdavit filed by the petitioner, while doing so, the licensing authority shall also pass a reasoned order justifying the continuation of suspension. The said order shall be passed by the licensing authority within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
