This matter is listed under Chapter XII Rule 4. This Court had passed the order dated 02.12.2023, which reads as under:- "The appeal is of the year 1995. The record indicates that service on the sole respondent is not sufficient. Learned counsel for the appellant shall take fresh steps by both ways for service on the respondent within a week from today. In case, steps are not taken, the matter shall be listed before the Court immediately on the expiry of the aforesaid period. However, if the steps are taken, matter shall be listed after due service in the month of January, 2024." As per the office report dated 18.12.2023, learned counsel for the appellant has has failed to take steps. Since, the appeal is of the year 1996, accordingly, the appeal is dismissed under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the High Court Rules. Consigned to records.
