¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to provide Pay Grade of Rs. 4800/- to petitioner on the post of Junior Engineer in the light of Government order dated

31.05.2011.

¶3Mr. Sandip Sharma, learned State Counsel however has raised a preliminary objection with the submission that as per pleadings made in the petition itself, it is evident that earlier petitioner was in Pay Grade of Rs. 4200/- which was thereafter enhanced to Rs. 4800/- and was subsequently reduced again to Rs. 4200/- but the aforesaid order reducing petitioner's pay grade has not been challenged by petitioner.

¶4In view of aforesaid, learned counsel for petitioner seeks to withdraw this petition with liberty to file afresh in order to effect challenge to earlier order passed in May, 2023.
