¶1Heard the counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.

¶2The present petition has been filed seeking a mandamus for decision on the application filed by the petitioner for transfer of the arms license in favour of his son, the petitioner no.2.

¶3Considering the fact that the application is pending before the opposite party no.3, the present petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.3 to take a decision on the application filed by the petitioner in accordance with law with all expedition preferably within a period of six weeks.
