This petition under Section 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking the direction for expeditious disposal of S.T. No. 75/2018: State of U.P. Versus Lalta Prasad Gupta, arising out of Case Crime No. 375/1992, under Sections 418, 420, 272 I.P.C., Police Station Bazarkhala, Lucknow, pending before the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Court No. 16, Lucknow. Learned A.G.A. has no objection on the prayer made by the learned counsel for the applicant. In the facts and circumstances of the case the court concerned is directed to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, say within a period of one year from today without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, unless there is some legal impediment or unless there is any order passed by the higher court staying the proceedings of the case.
