Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material brought on record. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner against an order dated 08.08.2023 passed by the District Consumer Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. It is argued that against the said order, the petitioners have an option of preferring a review application as prescribed under Section 40 of the Act and the petitioner wants to file the said review application. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a review application within one week from today. In case such a review application is filed, the same shall be disposed of within three weeks thereafter.
