¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondent, Shri Pankaj Gupta, learned counsel for the Village Panchayat/Gaon Sabha and perused the record.

¶2The instant petition has been filed with the following relief:- "i. Direct the opposite party no. 1 i.e. Sub-Divisional Officer, Tahsil-Payagpur, District-Bahraich to decide the Case No. 2488/2021, Computerized Case No. T202108150502488 (Awadhesh Kumar Singh and others Versus Hamid and others), Under Section-134 of U.P. Revenue Code which is pending before him since 02.06.2021, as expeditious as possible or within a period as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court."

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the matter is pending consideration since 2021. He added that the interest of justice would subserve if this Hon'ble Court would be pleased to direct the respondent no.1 to decide the Case No. 2488/2021, Computerized Case No. T202108150502488 (Awadhesh Kumar Singh and others Versus Hamid and others), Under Section-134 of U.P. Revenue Code within a stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this Court.

¶4The learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the contention aforesaid.

¶5In view of the aforesaid innocuous prayer, the respondent no.1 i.e. Sub-Divisional Officer, Tahsil-Payagpur, District-Bahraich, is hereby directed to decide the Case No. 2488/2021, Computerized Case No. T202108150502488 (Awadhesh Kumar Singh and others Versus Hamid and others), Under Section-134 of U.P. Revenue Code within a period of six months, from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before it, in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties, if there is no legal impediment.

¶6The aforesaid order is subject to cooperation of the petitioners.
