¶1Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned State Counsel for opposite parties.

¶2Petition has been filed seeking a direction to opposite parties to consider petitioner's candidature for compassionate appointment in view of fact that her husband late Ram Naresh passed away in service on 24.04.2022. It is submitted that petitioner has thereafter moved an application for compassionate appointment on 28.11.2023 which is yet pending consideration.

¶3In view of aforesaid, the opposite party no. 3 i.e. Sub-Divisional Officer, Tehsil-Ramnagar, District-Barabanki or any other competent authority is directed to decide petitioner's application dated 28.11.2023 expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before the said authority.
