Heard Shri Gulam Mustafa, learned counsel for the applicants, Shri Mukesh Kumar, learned counsel for the opposite party No.2 and Shri S.P. Tiwari, learned AGA for the State. Learned counsels for the parties contend that the proceedings arise out of a matrimonial dispute. The parties have amicably resolved their differences and a compromise has been reduced to writing. 06.03.2024 which is appended as Annexure-6 to the application. Shri S.P. Tiwari, learned A.G.A. does not have any serious objection to the aforesaid prayer. Further continuation of the criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility, entail loss of precious judicial time and will create bad blood between the parties.
