¶1Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and perused the material on record.

¶2The present petition has been filed with following prayers :-

(i) Issue an order or direction for the opposite party no.1 to decide expeditiously the Case No.4133 of 2023 (Computer No.202310460004133) under Section 21(2) U.P. Urban Premises Tenancy Regulation Act, 2021 the case title of Anil Kumar Nigam Vs. Manvendra Bhatt pending before the Court of Additional District Magistrate (T.G.), Lucknow, in the interest of justice.

(ii) To pass any other order, this court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

¶3It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that Case No.4133 of 2023 is pending before Court of Additional District Magistrate (T.G.), Lucknow, under Section 21(2) of the U.P. Urban Premises Tenancy Regulation Act, 2021, therefore, a request to direct the concerned authority to decide the case expeditiously within stipulated period of time.

¶4Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submissions made by learned counsel for both the parties and perusal of record as well as the provisions as contained in the Act, it is expedient to direct the respondent no.1 i.e. Additional District Magistrate (T.G.), Lucknow to make its endeavour to decide the case as expeditiously as possible within stipulated period of time i.e. 60 days from the date of production of certified copy of this order in accordance with law.
