¶1Heard Mohammad Irfan Siddiqui, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the other respondents.

¶2Grievance of the petitioner raised in the present writ petition is with regard to Gata No.513 situated at Village Safipur, Tehseel Fatehpur, District Barabanki, which is recorded as chak marg.

¶3It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the said chak marg is full of potholes and it is not possible to commute over the said land and villagers are facing a lot of difficulties and in the aforesaid circumstances, they have given representation to the District Magistrate, Barabanki on 15.04.2024. In the said representation, it has been stated that the said chak marg is not navigable by the villagers due to potholes and accordingly a request has been made to repair the said chak marg so that the same can be used by the villagers and accordingly a prayer has been made for a suitable direction be given to the District Magistrate to decide the said representation.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel, on the other hand, on the basis of instructions submitted that the representation of the petitioner shall be decided with expedition.

¶5Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the District Magistrate, Barabanki within next two weeks. In case, such a representation is made by the petitioner, the respondent no.2, District Magistrate, Barabanki shall consider and decide the same within a period of four weeks thereafter, in accordance with law and expedite the repair of the chak marg situates at Gata No.513, Village Safipur, Tehseel Fatehpur, District Barabanki.
