¶1The instant petition has been filed, praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioners in respect of mutation of their names in the revenue records.

¶2It is not disputed that under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006, a detailed procedure is prescribed for moving an application by a person seeking mutation of his name. Therefore, no good ground is made out to direct the respondents to decide the representation.

¶3It is left open to the petitioners to apply for mutation of their names, if so advised, as per the procedure prescribed under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.
