¶1The prayer made in the instant petition filed purportedly in public interest is for a direction to the respondents to take action against the gram pradhan under Section 95(1)(g) of U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947.

¶2The case of the petitioner is that on a complaint filed by him, a preliminary enquiry was held and wherein the charges were found to be correct. The District Magistrate had issued notice on 25.11.2022 to the Village Pradhan (respondent no.7) seeking her explanation. Similar notice was given to the Secretary of the Land Management Committee.
