¶1Heard Sri Ramesh Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing counsel for the respondents.

¶2It has been submitted that the petitioner was working on the post of Technical Assistant in Agriculture Department, State of U.P. and is presently posted at Lakhimpur Kheri. It is stated that the petitioner is due for superannuation on 31.12.2024 and as per the transfer policy for 2024-25 in sub clause v of para 5 it has been provided that the persons holding class IV posts would be entitled to be transferred to his home district in last two years of their services. It is in this regard that the petitioner has made representation to opposite party No.3 on 24.4.2024 which is pending consideration.

¶3After arguing the matter at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievances of the petitioner shall be substantially redressed in case opposite party No.3 is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner dated 24.4.2024, as contained in Annexure No.5 to the writ petition, expeditiously.

¶3Learned Standing counsel does not object to the prayer made by the petitioner.

¶4In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to opposite party No.3 i.e. Additional Director, Agriculture (Administration), Krishi Bhawan, Lucknow to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, expeditiously, say within a period of two weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before him, in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
