¶1Heard.
¶2Father of the petitioner in whose favour lease for exercising fisheries right in respect of the pond has been settled by the authorities is still alive and during his life time, the petitioner-his son wants the 'patta' to be transferred in his name i.e. his son's name.
¶3We asked the petitioner's counsel to kindly show the provision in U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 under which such lease is transferable but he could not show any such provision.
¶4At this stage, learned Standing Counsel informs the Court that the lease granted to the father of the petitioner has expired long back in 2010 itself, therefore, the petitioner has no claim. If it is so, it make the situation worse.
