¶1Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Standing Counsel.

¶2The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "ISSUE a Order or Direction in the nature of the mandamus Commanding whereby directing the Opposite no. 2 to decide the File no.01/2024, Arms Act, Police Station Gangaghat, District Unnao, Contained as ANNEXURE No.4 during the pendency of Petition."

¶3Considering the prayer limited to the issue of mandamus, the writ petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the application/File No.02/2024 Arms Act of the petitioner expeditiously within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
