Learned Standing Counsel has submitted that in compliance of judgement and order passed by the writ court, the representation of the petitioner has already been decided in the light of the judgement passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Shabha Shankar Dube vs. Divisional Forest Officer reported in AIR 2019 SC 220. Learned Counsel for the applicant has very fairly submitted that in compliance of the judgment and order dated 21.05.2024 passed in Writ A - 3909 of 2024, the claim of the applicant has been decided and for all practical purposes, the present contempt petition has become infructuous and the same may be dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the applicant to challenge the decision taken by the respondent by filing a writ petition. As such, the present contempt petition is dismissed as infructuous and it is open for the applicant to avail the remedy, as may be permissible under law.
