¶1The instant petition filed purportedly in public interest is for directing the respondents to remove illegal constructions over a building known as Jahangirabad Mansion Hazratganj. Various other reliefs have also been claimed in respect of the same building as well as compensation to the tune of Rs.25,00,000/- to be paid to the petitioner.

¶2The writ petition was dismissed in default on 24.09.2008, thereafter, the said order was recalled on 22.10.2008.

¶3No one is present for the petitioner.

¶4We are informed that the petitioner has died.

¶5Shri Shailendra Singh Chauhan, learned counsel appearing for respondent, Municipal Corporation, states that the necessary action had already been taken.

¶6As there is no one present to controvert the stand taken by the Municipal Corporation, therefore, we are not inclined to proceed any further in the instant matter.
