18.11.2024 Heard Mr. J Aktar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Nur Hussain, Son of Makbul Hussain, resident of village No.2 Jaraguri, Police Station-Manikpur, District-Bongaigaon, is praying for his bail in Manikpur Police Station Case No. 138/2024, corresponding to G.R. No. 580/2024, registered under Sections 137(2)/127(2)/64/351 BNS, 2023, wherein, he was arrested on 20.10.2024 and is in custody since then. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on the instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Manikpur Police Station Case No. 138/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 108/2024 dated 31.10.2024. 4) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 425/2024. 5) With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands closed.
