19/11/2024 Heard Mr. D Gogoi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2The petitioner, namely, Sri Rubul Handique, has filed this application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Dilai P.S. Case No. 36/2024 registered under Sections 379/411/34 IPC read with Section 53(1)(a) of the Page No.# 2/2 Assam Excise (Amendment) Act corresponding to G.R. No. 162/2024.

¶3The Court by order dated 18.07.2024 granted interim bail to the petitioner, named above, in said Dilai P.S. Case No. 36/2024.

¶4During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Dilai P.S. Case No. 36/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 46/2024 dated

31.10.2024.

¶5In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Dilai P.S. Case No. 36/2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 162/2024 on or before 27.11.2024.

¶6Till then (i.e., 27.11.2024), the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted to him earlier on

18.07.2024 in said Dilai P.S. Case No. 36/2024.

¶7With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
