21.11.2024 None appeared for the petitioner on call though names of three counsels for the petitioner have been reflected in the cause list. 2) Heard Ms. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 3) By this application filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Mustafiz Ahmed, son of Faruque Ahmed Laskar, resident of village-Dakshin Mohanput Part-II, P.S.-Sonai, District-South Cachar, has prayed for his pre-arrest bail in Ramkrishna Page No.# 2/2 Nagar Police Station Case No.94/2024, registered under Sections 120(B)/406/416/420 of the IPC read with Sections 4/5 of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978, read with Section 66 of the IT Act. 4) During the deliberation of the matter, Ms. Bora, learned APP, Assam, on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Ramkrishna Nagar P.S. Case No.94/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 116/2024 dated 09.11.2024. 5) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail. 6) With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands closed.
