¶1Heard Mr. A. Mannaf, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Sarmah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent/opposite party.

¶2By this application filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, Page No.# 2/3 2023, the petitioner, namely, Hussain Ali, is seeking pre-arrest bail in connection with Mukalmua Police Station Case No. 136/2024 registered under Sections 120(B)/302 of IPC.

¶3Case Diary as called for has been received and perused the same.

¶4Considering the material so far collected by the concerned Investigating Officer as well as the nature of the allegation, this Court is of the view that custodial interrogation of the petitioner may not be necessary in this case. Accordingly, it is hereby provided that, in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Hussain Ali shall be allowed to go on bail on furnishing a bond of Rs. 20,000/- with one local surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority.

¶5The bail is granted on the following conditions:

(i) The petitioner shall appear before the Officer-in-Charge of Mukalmua Police Station within 10 (ten) days from today to get his statement recorded,

(ii) The petitioner shall not hamper with the investigation, or tamper with the evidence of the case,

(iii) The petitioner shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer.

¶6Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application stands disposed of.
