25.11.2024 A joint submission is made by Mr. BK Mahajan, learned counsel for the petitioners and by Mr. RS Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 that the matter has amicably been settled before the Hon'ble Apex Court, whereby the parties were allowed to compound the offences though the offences were non-compoundable and accordingly a payment of Rs. 10 Lacs was directed to be paid by the petitioners/ appellants to the original complainant to be deposited in the bank account of original complainant within a period of two weeks. It is submitted that said order has already been complied with. Be that as it may, in view of the order passed by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Criminal Appeal No. 277/2019 quashing the entire complaint, in the considered opinion of this court, nothing survives to be adjudicated in this petition.
