ORDER 02-12-2024 Heard Mr. JMA Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Page No.# 2/2 Sri Nur Uddin, son of late Rakib Ali, resident of Village-Tilakchand Road, P.S.- Karimganj, District-Karimganj is seeking bail in Special NDPS Case No. 62/2024 arising out of Karimgnaj P.S. Case No. 357/2024 registered under Sections 22(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Karimgnaj P.S. Case No. 357/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 436/2024 dated 23.11.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Karimgnaj P.S. Case No. 357/2024.

¶5Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of.
