ORDER Date : 11-12-2024 Heard Mr. A Paul, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that despite the order dated 21.10.2022 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in WA No. 296/2022, the APDCL is not considering the petitioner's application for a temporary electricity connection to the premises which she has occupied. He also submits that Title Appeal No. 01/2018, has been decreed in the petitioner's favour.

¶2Mr. SP Sharma, learned counsel for the APDCL submits that the petitioner would have to apply for the electricity connection in terms of Format-I of Clause

4.1 of the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2017. He submits that if the petitioner applies for electricity connection in terms of Format-I, the APDCL shall consider the case of the petitioner.

¶3In view of the submissions made by Mr. SP Sharma, learned counsel for the APDCL, this writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner, to Page No.# 3/3 apply for electricity connection for the house in which she is alleged to be residing in, by making an application under Format-I. The APDCL should thereafter consider the case of the petitioner as per the Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code) Regulations, 2017.
