ORDER 18-12-2024 Heard Mr. A Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Prasanta Bordoloi @ Prasata Bordoloi, son of late Suresh Bordoloi, permanent resident of village-Page No.# 2/2 Bhurbandha, Sotobori, P.S.-Morigaon, District-Morigaon and presently residing on Gosaibari Path, Bongaon, P.S.-Basistha, District-Kamrup(Metro), is seeking bail in Basistha Police Station Case No. 816/2024 registered under Sections 319(2)/318(4)/336(3)/ 340(2)/351(2) of BNS, 2023, corresponding to G.R. No. 6719/2024, in which he was taken into custody on 13.11.2024.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K K Parashar, learned APP, Assam, on instruction, has submitted that police after completion of the investigation of the case has already submitted Charge-Sheet in said Basistha Police Station Case No. 816/2024 vide Charge Sheet No. 695/2024 dated 30.11.2024, prior to filing of this bail application on

04.12.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Basistha Police Station Case No. 816/2024.

¶5Accordingly, this bail application stands disposed of.
