Case no.
I.A.(Crl.) 1168/2024

Judgment

ORDER Date : 20.12.2024 None appears for the applicant when the matter is called. Heard Mr. K. Baishya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This is an application seeking correction of name of the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner in the order dated 08.11.2024 passed in A.B. No.2731/2024. It appears that the aforesaid Anticipatory Bail Application was filed by one Prasanjit Mahato seeking anticipatory bail, which was granted by this court by order dated 08.11.2024. However, it appears that while granting the anticipatory bail to the said applicant, inadvertently the name of the petitioner was mentioned as one "Aditya Singh Alias Singha". Accordingly, a typographical error appears to have been crept into the order dated 08.11.2024. In the interest of justice, this Court deems appropriate to correct the name of the petitioner appearing in the order dated 08.11.2024 of this Court as "Prasanjit Mahato" instead of Aditya Singh Alias Singha. The order dated 08.11.2024 stands corrected. Registry is directed to intimate the order of this Court to the learned counsel for the applicant as well as to the applicant. With the above observation and direction, this I.A. stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
