DISPOSED OF
Court
High Court of Madras
Decided

Bench
S. M. Subramaniam, Krishnaswamy Govindarajan
Case no.
WP 17992/2025

Judgment

ORDER (Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the case of similarly placed persons were considered for absorption to the post of Junior Assistant.

¶2Mr.Venkatramani, learned Senior Counsel would submit that though the issue is pending before the High Court, no final decision has been taken. Page3 of 4

¶3Learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the issue involves larger repercussion, since many number of employees in the same cadre are in service across the State of Tamilnadu. Therefore, the issues are to be considered by the High Court with reference to the rules as well as the High Court proceedings. However, at this juncture, it is not desirable for this Court to consider the direction as such sought for and the same cannot be granted. However, we request the Hon'ble High Court to decide the issues as expeditiously as possible on merits and in accordance with law.

¶4With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. W.MP.20185/2025 is ordered on payment of separate court fee. (S.M.S.,J.) (K.G.R.,J.) 20-08-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order vsi To
