Shakuntla Gautam Director Local Bodies Up, Lucknow Counsel for Applicant :- Manish Gupta Hon'ble Rohit Ranjan Agarwal,J. The writ Court on 01.11.2021 while disposing of Writ-A No.15365 of 2021 passed the following order : "Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 to 3 and Sri Ram Bahadur Singh, learned counsel for respondent no.4. The petitioner was General Manager in Jal Sansthan Nagar Nigam, Shahjahanpur and has retired on 31.03.2021. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that no useful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending and appropriate direction may be issued to respondent no.2 to consider the grievance of the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case and with the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no.2-Director Local Bodies, U.P. Lucknow, raising all his grievances within a period of two weeks from today alongwith the certified copy of this order. In case any such representation is filed by the petitioner, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same by reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months thereafter." A compliance affidavit has been filed on behalf of State wherein it has been stated that the order of the writ Court has been complied with and representation of the applicant has been decided. As the order of the writ Court has been complied with and the representation has been decided, the contempt application has rendered infructuous and stands dismissed leaving it open to the applicant to challenge the order passed by opposite party before the appropriate forum, if so advised. Contempt notice stands discharged. Order Date :- 20.11.2023 Kushal High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
