¶1None appeared on behalf of the petitioner to press this petition, even in the revised call.

¶2Learned A.G.A. for the State-respondent is present.

¶3This writ petition has been filed seeking direction toe the Superintendent of Police, Rampur to take back the investigation of Case Crime No.189 of 2022, under sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 323, 504, 506 IPC and section 3(1)(da) & 3(1)(dha) of SC/ST Act, P.S. Civil Lines, District Rampur from the present Investigating Officer i.e. respondent no.3 and direct the respondent no.1 to handover the investigation to a competent investigating agency i.e. CBI, CBCID or SIS so that fair investigation of the case may be done.

¶4In such circumstances, the instant writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution.
