Munir,J. (Order on the Writ Petition) A supplementary affidavit dated 04.10.2023 has been filed on behalf of the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 by Mr. Vimlesh Kumar Rai, Advocate. In paragraph No. 3 of the affidavit, it is averred :

¶3That all the dues of petitioner had been paid but amount of L.I.C. could not be paid till then which was paid to petitioner as Rs. 47,400/- vide cheque no. 000411-736312 dated 22.08.2023 by Chief Account Officer, U.P. Jal Nigam (Urban), Lucknow. It is also relevant to mention here that the cheque no. 154953 dated 07.08.2023 of Rs. 11,55,394/- (Gratuity as Rs. 7,15,244/- and leave encashment as Rs. 4,40,150/-) had been received by petitioner himself. The copy of document regarding payment of L.I.C. dated 22.08.2023 and copy of cheque of Rs. 11,55,394/-, No. 154953 dated 07.08.2023 with receiving of petitioner are collectively being filed herewith and marked as ANNEXURE NO. SCA-1 to this affidavit. When the case is called on, no one appears for the petitioner. It appears that the petitioner has received all his post-retiral benefits. In this view of the matter, no further orders are required to be passed on this writ petition. It is, accordingly, consigned to record. (Order on Civil Misc.
