In compliance with the order dated 5.10.2023, Chief Engineer (Human Resource), Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, Shakti Bhawan, Lucknow, has passed an order appointing the petitioner under the U.P. Recruitment of Dependants of Government Servants Dying in Harness Rules, 1974. In compliance of the said order, the Executive Engineer, Parichha Thermal Power Project, Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, Parichha, Jhansi, has issued an office memo dated

13.10.2023, asking the petitioner to join duties. It is stated at the Bar by Mr. Shad Khan, learned Counsel that the petitioner has joined duties as a Class-IV employee on 16.10.2023. The petitioner has been paid leave encashment dues. So far as the gratuity is concerned, it is stated that it will be paid to him within ten days. As far as claim regarding Contributory Provident Fund is concerned, it is stated by Mr. Shad Khan that the deceased, that is to say petitioner's husband, has made a nomination in favour of his mother, Smt. Suneeta. Therefore, if the petitioner desires to take the Contributory Provident Fund, she will have to seek a no objection from Smt. Suneeta, whereupon, Contributory Provident Fund will be paid to her. In this view of the matter, this petition is disposed of recording the above acknowledgement of rights and steps taken by the respondents. Order Date :- 17.10.2023 A.P.
