¶3This writ petition has been filed for quashing the impugned notice dated 12.05.2023 issued by the Inspector, Uttar Pradesh Vigilance Department, Gorakhpur arising out of First Information Report dated 10.08.1996 in Case Crime No. 142 of 1996, under Sections 419, 420, 465, 468, 471, 120B I.P.C. and Section 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act, P.S. Baghauch Ghat, District Deoria.

¶4On perusal of record, we find that two petitions arising out of the same case crime number being Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 23405 of 2017 (Jagdish Prasad Pandey Vs. State of U.P. and 5 Others) and Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No. 9811 of 2023 (Upendra Nath Mishra @ Upendra Mishra Vs. State of U.P. and 4 Others), have already been dismissed on merits by this Court vide orders dated 23.11.2015 and 13.07.2023, respectively.
