The dispute between the parties pursuant to FIR lodged in case crime no.158 of 2023, U/s 147, 149, 392, 452, 354 (B), 420, 467, 468, 471, 323, 427, 504 & 506 IPC, P.S. Kydganj District Prayagraj was referred to mediation by this Court on 21.11.2023. The mediation centre has submitted a report as per which the parties have already resolved their differences and, therefore, the dispute has been amicably resolved. Learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the informant submits that in such circumstances no useful purpose would be served in allowing the investigation/ trial to continue any further. In the facts of the case, since parties have already resolved their differences in mediation proceedings and a settlement agreement has been arrived at between the parties, the first information report in above case crime stands quashed and the writ petition is accordingly, allowed.
