¶1Heard Ms. Misba Rizvi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

¶2Petitioner, who has retired as Supervisor from the Public Works Department, Prayagraj, is aggrieved by computation of gratuity payable to the petitioner, which according to him, has wrongly been done. Petitioner has attained age of superannuation on

31.03.2022 and, therefore, wants the gratuity to be considered in light of government order dated 30th November, 2021.

¶3It appears from the record that petitioner has already approached the authority by making a representation on 14.03.2022 which is still pending consideration before respondent No.3.

¶4Learned Standing Counsel does not have any objection in the event petitioner's representation is accorded due consideration and disposed of in accordance with law.

¶5In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondent no.3 to look into and consider the claim of the petitioner as raised in his representation dated 14.03.2022 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
