¶1Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to amend the description of the petitioner during the course of the day.

¶2Registry is also directed to correct the name of the petitioner in its computer records.

¶3In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the show cause notice dated September 28, 2023 for cancellation of his registration under section 29 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act.

¶4Upon perusal of the said notice, it is clear that no date has been provided for appearance of the petitioner.

¶5Accordingly, we direct the petitioner to file his reply within seven days from the date and the Assistant Commissioner, State Tax is directed to hear the matter on 11.12.2023 at 11.00 a.m. and decide the same expeditiously upon passing an order and serve a copy of the same upon the petitioner within eight days.
