¶1Heard learned counsel for the parties.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner states that upon representation of the petitioner, the respondents have taken cognizance to accept his request not to be promoted as Revenue Inspector from the post of Lekhpal. He submits that two days' back petitioner had been required to furnish affidavit as per circular letter dated 28.08.2023.

¶3In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondents that upon receipt of the affidavit from the petitioner, he shall take appropriate action and pass final orders reverting back petitioner to the position of Lekhpal giving him posting at Prayagraj where he was posted within thirty days' time of receipt of affidavit from the petitioner.
