The only prayer made by Shri Om Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal of the petitioner dated 10.06.2022 be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Bipin Kumar Pandey, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for the respondents No.1 to 3-State does not have any serious objection to the aforesaid prayer. He contends that the authorities are under obligation of law to decide the appeal within a reasonable period of time. The respondent no. 2/Deputy Commissioner (Transport), Lucknow Zone, Lucknow shall decide the appeal of the petitioner dated 10.06.2022, expeditiously as far as possible, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
