Judgment
Court No. - 19 Case :- SECOND APPEAL No. - 175 of 1989 Appellant :- State Of U.P Respondent :- Abdul Khaliq And Others Counsel for Appellant :- C.S.C Hon'ble Jaspreet Singh,J. The appeal is of the year 1989. At the time of admission i.e. in 1989 the contesting sole respondent Abdul Khaliq was 60 years of age. Learned counsel for the appellant states that the sole contesting respondent has expired in the year 1995. The record indicates that the time was granted to the appellant, however, no steps have been taken. Learned Standing Counsel has vehemently requested grant of time. However, this Court is not inclined to grant any such time for the reason that admittedly the contesting respondent died in the year 1995 and more than 25 years have lapsed. Since the contesting respondent is no more and more than 25 years have lapsed, accordingly the appeal stands abated. Consigned to record.
