The matter is listed today under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, 1952. On 21.11.2023, the Court had passed the following order, which reads as under:- "The present appeal is listed under Chapter 12 Rule 4 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, 1952. Two weeks' time is granted to the appellants to take steps in terms of the order dated 01.11.2023. As per the office report, steps have not been taken. The learned Standing Counsel submits that since the report indicates that one of the parties have left the premises, hence, he requires further two weeks' time to ascertain the correct address so that the steps can be taken. In view thereof, list this matter on 14th December, 2023. In case if the steps are so taken at the correct address, the office shall do the needful or else the matter shall be listed under the appropriate heading immediately after the expiry of the aforesaid period." As per the office report dated 14.12.2023, learned counsel for the appellants has failed to take steps. In view of the aforesaid, the appeal is dismissed under Chapter XII Rule 4 of the Allahabad High Court Rules, 1952. Consigned to record.
